You can also try verifying game files as described here.
If none of the above steps help, reinstall your GPU drivers by following these steps:
- Download the latest drivers for your GPU, but do not install them yet.
- Download Display Driver Uninstaller and run it to remove any previous versions of drivers.
- Perform a clean installation of the drivers that you've downloaded in step 1.
It's important to note that installing older drivers can sometimes help resolve crashing issues.
Intel Processor Crashes
Certain players are encountering crashes caused by a conflict between Intel i9 processors and the decompression method used in Unreal Engine 5. While we cannot provide a direct fix at this time, a workaround is available that should resolve the issue in most instances.
Workaround
Who is affected?: Individuals using 13th and 14th generation Intel processors who encounter "LowLevelFatalError - Could not decompress shader group with Oodle" crashes.
What's the problem?: A hardware issue with Intel 13900K and 14900K processors (including models like 13700 and 14700) is causing game crashes due to BIOS settings and high clock rates.
How to fix it (short explanation): Players should either disable overclocking in the BIOS or use Intel XTU to lower the Performance Core multiplier for improved stability.
Please refer to this article for a step by step guide to fix the problem.
