How to generate a DirectX Diagnostic (DxDiag)

DxDiag

DxDiag (DirectX Diagnostic) is a Windows tool that displays technical information about the software on your computer. Our support team uses this tool to assist in resolving technical issues. Follow the steps below to generate a DxDiag:

  1. Hold the Windows key on your keyboard.
  2. Tap the R key to open the Run window.
  3. In the pop-up window, type: dxdiag
  4. Press the Enter key The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will load. If there is a pop-up window asking about digital driver signing; click Yes to proceed.
  5. Click the Save all information button
  6. Click the Save button The file should be saved to your desktop as dxdiag.txt
  7. Click the Exit button

Note:
Please attach the dxdiag.txt file to the Support Ticket on your desktop. Please do not compress your files, as we cannot accept ZIP or RAR file types.
